The Fullness of Time
But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law Galatians 4:4
Lord, You have been our dwelling place in all generations. Before the mountains were born or You gave birth to the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God. Psalm 90:1-2
You turn man back into dust and say, "Return, O children of men." For a thousand years in Your sight are like yesterday when it passes by, Or as a watch in the night. You have swept them away like a flood, they fall asleep; In the morning they are like grass which sprouts anew. In the morning it flourishes and sprouts anew; Toward evening it fades and withers away. Psalm 90:3-6
As for the days of our life, they contain seventy years, or if due to strength, eighty years, yet their pride is but labor and sorrow; for soon it is gone and we fly away. Psalm 90:10
But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day. The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance. II Peter 3:8-9
"For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways," declares the LORD. "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts." Isaiah 55:8-9
How shall we then live?
- Luke 12:16-21
- Jesus taught His disciples and He speaks to us today in Luke 12:22-34
- Matthew 6:33 "But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you."
Happy New Year
You crown the year with Your goodness, and Your paths drip with abundance. Psalm 65:11
