Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:14-16

Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.’”        But this He spoke of the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were to receive; for the Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified. John 7:3

Everyone who drinks of this water will thirst again; but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life. John 4:13-1

“Our Lord was not a martyr; He was not merely a good man; He was God incarnate. He came down to the lowest reach of creation in order to bring back the whole human race to God, and in order to do this He must take upon Himself, as representative of man, the whole massed sin of the race.” — Oswald Chambers

John 3:16
For God – the greatest giver
So loved – the greatest motive
The world – the greatest need
That He gave – the greatest act
His only Son – the greatest gift
That whosoever – the greatest invitation
Believes in Him – the greatest opportunity
Should not perish – the greatest deliverance
But have everlasting life – the greatest joy
