The "As Though They Were" Principle - Part 2Faith Confession!
The Decree- Mark 11:11-14, 19-23 - Jesus Illustrates
- Bethphage (BEHTH-fuh-dzhee) = House of early or unripe figs
- The fig tree represents the fruitlessness of Israel's religious system
- Lead by the Father
- Inspired by the Holy Spirit
- Spoken by the Word
- Defined = An authoritative order having the force of law. To ordain, establish, or decide
- Proverbs 8:15 "By me kings reign, And rulers decree justice."
- Job 22:28 "You will also decree a thing, and it will be established for you; so light will shine on your way."
- A spiritual declaration
- Matthew 20:20 - Gentiles lord it over others
- When we make a Kingdom decree, that decree begins to establish or build a foundation in the area into which we are speaking.
- The words are originated by the Holy Spirit in our hearts
- "Establish" means: To set up or bring about
- When we decree a thing, it brings about a "secure position" in the Kingdom of God on earth!
The Scriptural PrincipleWe are "Blessed to be a blessing!"
If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them. John 13:17
{Cultivate a deeper heart}
So You Want To Have A Good Day?- Numbers 13:30 - Calebs's answer
- "Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it."
- Galatians 2:20 - the origination of faith
- Faith always has an object
- II Corinthians 5:17-19 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
- II Corinthians 5:20-21 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them. John 13:17
