- The day following a week of weeks or the 50th day following Passover
- The Harvest Festival
- Exodus 12:37-41; 19:5-6

The three purposes of the feasts:

Mount Sinai	Upper Room
Exodus 12	Acts 2
The birth of the nation of Israel	The birth of the church
The mountain violently quaked	violent rushing wind
Fire from heaven	tongues of fire
Israel was a mixed multitude	men from every nation
The Law was written on stone	written on our hearts
The Law was given to guide them	The Spirit was given to guide the church
Israel rejected her calling	The church received her calling
Israel was limited to the Levitical priesthood	The church became a Holy nation
3,000 were killed in judgment	3,000 were saved by grace
Began a season of 4 months of harvest	Began the season of grace
